What is Samepad?
A private pad that follows you — web, Chrome, terminal, and AI. Capture where the idea hits. Find it again anywhere. Private by default. Share only if you want to.
Is it free?
Yes. Capturing ideas, keeping them private, streaks, and reading the community are free. No card to start.
How do I start?
Create an account and write the first note. A sentence is enough. A photo is optional.
Are my captures private?
Yes unless you make a note public. You choose per note. We do not sell your writing.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing resets that matters. Ideas you already captured stay. Capture the next one when you can.
Does it work offline?
The PWA caches recent screens. For capture outside the browser, use the Chrome extension, samepad CLI, or MCP with your key.
Can I use it outside this website?
Yes. Get a key in Settings or /everywhere, then paste it in Chrome, the terminal, or your AI. Same private pad as this site.
Can I export my pad?
Export is on the list. Until it ships, your pad live in your account. Ask support if you need a copy sooner.
Is there a store app?
Samepad installs to your home screen from the browser and behaves like an app.
